What It Does:

Serves as the high-strength chrome-plated piston rod assembly reciprocating inside the bucket hydraulic cylinder on Caterpillar 323 and 395 series hydraulic excavators. Anchored to the internal piston on one end and pinned to the bucket linkage on the other, it transmits hydraulic linear force directly to actuate bucket curling and dumping cycles.
